Two late tries helped the Junior Warriors secure their first win of the Toyota Cup rugby league season, 22-14 against Manly in Sydney tonight.
After leading 12-10 at halftime, the visitors stormed home for two tries in the last 10 minutes including the match-clincher to winger Thomas Ah Van who grabbed a double.
Howie Matthews and Elijah Taylor scored their other two tries, with Matthews adding three goals.
The Tony Iro-coached Junior Warriors opened their inaugural season with two close losses, 22-32 to Melbourne and 22-26 to Parramatta.
