Juniors to get a taste of Trans
Tasman Competition

National Junior Competition sides depart for Australia tomorrow for the first encounter of many at this level.

Both sides play preliminary matches on Tuesday to prepare for Thursdays matches against the Australian SG Ball and Harold Matthews Champions.

The teams selected to play are National Competition sides comprising of players selected from the 2002 competition. The New Zealand 16's and Junior Kiwis will be selected at a later date.

The Foundation Cup side, coached by former Kiwi Terry Hermansson, will play the Harold Matthews Champions Penrith U/16's while the Kiwi Cup side will play against the SG Ball Champions Western Suburbs U/18's.
