However over in England in the Super League, high dramas yesterday, as
the RFL announced the 13 clubs who would join Widnes Vikings in Super
League from 2012-2014.
Welsh club Crusaders RL withdrew their licence application despite being
virtually assured of success, for as yet unknown reasons. It is widely
believed to centre on financial difficulties, after the club were docked
four competition points for entering administration. Rumours also
suggest players have not been paid for up to three months.
