LeagueUnlimited.com Team of the Week - Round 7

Jarryd Hayne has joined the front runners in the LeagueUnlimited.com team of the week. Strong performances from Josh Dugan, Peter Wallace, Cameron Smith and Kieran Foran give the Round 7 Team of the Week a impressive spine, while Gallen and Woods provide some impact and grunt up front.

Fullback: Josh Dugan (Dragons)
Skilful at the back, again leading the way with his speed and ability to break the line. Scored the match winning try for the Dragons.

Wing: Shaun Kenny-Dowall (Roosters)
Ran for close to 300m, scored 2 tries and was a constant threat down the left all night for the Roosters.

Centre: Tim Lafai (Bulldogs)
Lafai couldn't be tackled - he troubled the Rabbitohs defence as he gained metres all night across the park. Set up tries and helped put the Bulldogs on the front foot.

Centre: Jarrod Croker (Raiders)
An all-round good performance from Croker.

Wing: Jarryd Hayne (Eels)
Scored two tries of his own, and set up another one to help his team.

Five-Eight: Peter Wallace (Panthers)
Not only did Wallace control the game well, he also managed to keep Greg Bird under wraps, which is no mean feat.

Halfback: Kieran Foran (Sea Eagles)
Foran lead the team around with the services of Brett Stewart backing him up. Threw a brilliant final pass to run the play on the last tackle and set up the match winner.

Lock: Sebastine Ikahihifo (Warriors)
Ikahihfo was one of the Warriors forwards who was troubling the Dragons defence. Amazing in his defence and attack, pushing the bounds getting the Warriors on the front foot.

Second Row: Josh Jackson (Bulldogs)
Josh lead the tackle count for the Bulldogs and his runs were key to the Bulldogs forward movement.

Second Row: Trent Merrin (Dragons)
Merrin was solid in attack and defence, gaining 160 metres and over 30 tackles.

Prop: Aaron Woods (Tigers)
More of the same from the big fella. Ran for over 100 metres, and made 40 tackles as well. An certainty for the Blues at this rate.

Hooker: Cameron Smith (Storm)
Controlled the game with a strong kicking game, making it difficult for the opposition back three to get anywhere near the ball.

Prop:Paul Gallen (Sharks)
Lead from the front with an inspirational return, ran for 160m with plenty of tackle busts and some handy ball playing in the midfield.

Interchange 1: Ben Hunt (Broncos)
Interchange 2:
Adam Blair (Tigers)
Interchange 3: Boyd Cordner (Roosters)
Interchange 4: Jamal Idris (Titans)
