The CFMEU Canberra Raiders have followed up their big 34-18 win over South Sydney last night, with news that in-form second row forward Tom Learoyd-Lahrs has agreed to a new two year deal that will see him in green until the end of 2011.
Learoyd-Lahrs has been in career best form so far this season for the Green Machine and his new contract is just reward for some standout performances for his side so far in 2009.
After another big win last night Learoyd-Lahrs said he believes the Raiders are on the verge of something special and said he is thankful that the club has stuck by him through a rough patch of injury in the past.
