The Canberra Raiders have made a huge announcement on the eve of their first 2011 NRL match, with Australian prop Tom Learoyd-Lahrs signing with the club for three more seasons until the end of 2014.
The NSW and Kangaroo front rower used the 2011 Raiders members only day as the forum to make his announcement, with over 1000 ecstatic members cheering the big man on as he made his decision public.
The signing follows on from the news of Bronson Harrison extending for three years last week and gives the Raiders a formidable foundation for the forward pack in the coming seasons.
An excited Learoyd-Lahrs said he it's great to have his long term future determined before the start of the Raiders campaign and said he can now concentrate on doing his job for the Raiders tomorrow against the Sharks.
