Steve Menzies signed today a new one year contract with Catalans Dragons.
Arrived at the club this season, Menzies is one of the players who has played the most NRL games with an amazing total of 349 games, but he is best known as the highest try scoring forward in rugby league with 180 tries.
Named man of the match last Saturday against his fomer club Bradford, he has scored 6 tries in 16 appearances with Catalans.
Another Australian, Brad Davis, currently holds the record after making his comeback for Castleford Tigers in 2006 and he was 38 years six months when he finally hung up his boots at the end of that season.
Menzies, who won the first of his 15 caps for the Kangaroos in 1994, spent 16 seasons with Manly Sea Eagles in a stellar career in the Australia's National Rugby League before coming to Super League in 2009.
