Sydney-siders packed out Parramatta Stadium last night for Triple M's
Legends of Origin match - a sporting spectacular that will go down in
history - raising almost $400,000 for the Queensland Flood Victims with
QLD taking out the Jordan Rice Shield.
Jerseys from the match signed by all players are currently for auction on the Triple M website and the final amount raised will be announced to the QLD Premier Anna Bligh on-air this Monday 31 January .
NRL legends returned to the field in an electric atmosphere that saw Queensland (20) take the win over New South Wales (16). A highlight was fruiterer Tony Trim scoring a try after forking out $14,600 for a place on the NSW team in an on-air Triple M auction as part of the fundraising effort.
