Logan returns for Green Machine

Veteran prop forward Scott Logan will return to the Raiders team this weekend from the bench, for the crucial match against the Newcastle Knights at Canberra Stadium.

Logan has missed three weeks due to a wrist injury he suffered against the Tigers in round 15 and replaces Troy Thompson who will miss the next two to three weeks with a shoulder injury he picked up against Manly.

Canberra lock forward Shaun Fensom will also be missing for the Raiders for the next one to two weeks with an ankle injury, with Sam Mataora coming into the Raiders lineup on the bench to replace Fensom.

The inclusion of Mataora sees Josh Miller start the match at lock, while Danny Galea has been named as 18th man for Sunday.

Raiders Coach David Furner said the side would not be weakened with the injuries sustained against the Sea Eagles and said players like Joe Picker would get their chance to shine again Sunday.
