Mander to Officiate Euro Decider

Top Australian whistler Tim Mander - who officiated at the recent NRL Grand Final between Wests Tigers and North Queensland Cowboys - is set take charge of the deciding European Nations Cup Group A game in Dublin on Saturday afternoon.

The leading man in the middle down under has flown in from Sydney ahead of the this autumn's Gillette Tri-Nations Series and will be on hand to monitor events in the Celtic clash as the Irish take on Wales for a place in next weekends Final in Carcassonne.

Both sides have narrowly beaten Scotland in their opening group games, with the Welsh holding a slender two point advantage on point's difference which means a draw will do for the men from the Principality to progress.

Opposing them, the Wolfhounds are aiming to reach their second consecutive European Final, having gone down to England in the climax of last season's competition.
