Manly get troops back as Knights

Sea Eagles Ben Kennedy and Terry Hill have been named to take on form side the Brisbane Broncos on Friday night at Suncorp Stadium in what should be a great opener to another fantastic weekend of footy.

BK was rested last week after taking part in the Aussie's Test victory against New Zealand, so he'll be happy to return north of the border. Tezza has been named on the bench after overcoming a hamstring injury which has kept him out for the past five weeks.

It should be a 'Clash of the Titans' with Brisbane Test forwards Tonie Carroll and Petero Civoniceva back for the game, as well as youngster Karmichael Hunt, who went missing last week with concussion.

It's not anywhere near happy days at Newcastle though, with three players in doubt for Sunday's match-up with Canberra. Matthew Gidley picked up a foot injury last week, while under-rated centre George Carmont is in doubt with a knee problem.

Bench forward Daniel Tolar received an unsavoury torn eye duct against Canterbury and all three will be checked out later in the week. Adam Woolnough will start the game in the only change to last week's line-up.
