Marsh to have
surgery

Injured NZ Warrior player PJ Marsh has decded to have further surgery on his neck.

Marsh has seen his specialist and he will have another operation in two weeks.

This follows the devastating news he received last week that his neck has not improved since his initial operation last year.

Marsh will undergo a similar fusion procedure but will not make any comment on his playing future until afterwards.

The livewire hooker has been sidelined since midway through last season but has always been confident of playing again.

Originally signed as a standoff Marsh's powerful running and defensive style made him an instant hit with the Warriors.

His move to hooker proved to be well timed and he was quickly snapped up by the Queensland State of Origin selectors.
