Marshall targets early
return for Tigers

West Tigers five-eighth Benji Marshall has decided to postpone shoulder surgery until the end of the season with a view to making his NRL return in four to six weeks.

Marshall and the club doctor met with his shoulder specialist yesterday to review the results of his MRI scan. In a boost to the Tigers' premiership defence it was revealed his off-season shoulder reconstruction remained intact and he will undertake a rehabilitation program which could see him return as early as round 11.
