Mason asks selectors to keep faith

New South Wales prop Willie Mason has implored Blues selectors to keep faith with the side humbled in game two of the State Of Origin series last night.

Mason, who arrived home this afternoon with the rest of his Sydney-based Blues teammates, said the squad deserve the opportunity to avenge last night's 30-6 thumping at Suncorp Stadium.

The Game 2 loss has set up a series decider at Melbourne's Telstra Dome on July 5. Blues halves Braith Anasta and Brett Finch will come under most scrutiny to retain their places for game three after lacklustre performances in Brisbane. New South Wales selectors will name the squad for the series finale on Monday week.
