Melbourne will host the third and final rugby league State of Origin match next year.
The match will be staged at the Telstra Dome while the city will also stage a game during the 2006 Tri-Nations Cup.
Victorian Premier Steve Bracks has made the announcement at a luncheon today celebrating Melbourne Storm's 100th home game. It comes as part of a multi-million dollar campaign to promote rugby league in Victoria.
