Penrith punish rusty Roosters

Victorious Queensland State of Origin coach Mal Meninga has rubbished newspaper reports linking him to English Super League power club St Helens next year.
Meninga says there is "not a hope in hell" of him taking over from Daniel Anderson should the former New Zealand Test coach negotiate a release from his current contract to replace Ricky Stuart at the Sydney Roosters next season.
Meninga played one season for the Saints in 1984-85 but says he has absolutely no interest in coaching any rugby league club because of his heavy business interests. He has not coached a club side since he was with the Canberra Raiders in 2002 but did guide the Maroons to victory in this year's State of Origin series.
