Milford, Hodges & Reed launch 2015 Broncos home jersey

The NRMA Insurance Brisbane Broncos have just launched their much anticipated new Home Jersey to be worn for the 2015-16 NRL Seasons.

The jersey salutes the past and current day with stripes returning to the abdomen, as per the Broncos' first Home Jerseys and inaugural Auckland Nines Jersey.

These stripes combine with a cleanly presented solid maroon torso, as opposed to the previous diagonal maroon and gold split from the upper right-hand shoulder.

Furthermore, white returns to the cuffs and collar for the first time in a few years, after listening to feedback from club members.

This modern design is a joint effort between the Broncos and Nike - the club's official apparel sponsor.

It will be worn for the first time in the Broncos' World Club Challenge clash against Wigan on the weekend of 20-22 February next year.

It is now available online via www.broncos.com.au/shop and in-store through the Broncos Superstore located inside the Broncos Leagues Club at 92 Fulcher Road, Red Hill.

Launching the new Home Jersey for 2015 was Chief Executive Paul White alongside senior players Justin Hodges and Jack Reed, who were joined by incoming young star Anthony Milford.

Milford has just commenced pre-season training with the Broncos after departing the Canberra Raiders post-season, and this major jersey launch marked his first public appearance for the club.

Returned Head Coach Wayne Bennett is expected to pair the 20-year-old Milford at five-eighth with the club's 2014 Player of the Year and halfback Ben Hunt as the team's long-term lethal halves combination.

The new look Broncos side and jersey is certainly making a ‘big' splash in Brisbane, as the club unveiled a giant 12 metre x 16 metre vinyl mesh replica of the home strip on the Kangaroo Point cliffs directly facing the city.

This digitally printed outdoor UV banner will be on display until the weekend to celebrate the start of pre-season and brand new jersey design.

It will then appear on the Kangaroo Point Cliffs during the 12 lead-up weeks to each Broncos home game in 2015, operating as a giant billboard reminder for commuters and city dwellers alike.

The club is now inviting members and supporters to post their photos of the giant jersey from their various vantage points on social media with the hashtag #TheStripesAreBack so they can be promoted.
