Monaghan cleared to play

Manly bound five eighth Michael Monaghan has been cleared to play against the Melbourne Storm this Friday night. The news has come as a massive boost for the Raiders who have been struggling with injuries to their halves ahead of the finals series.

Monaghan played a fantastic game against the Bulldogs two weeks ago but missed last Sunday?s loss to the Roosters with a qaudricep strain.

The Raiders go into their qualifying final against the Storm as firm favourites even though they have failed to beat the Storm on two occasions this year.

If the Raiders win and two sides above them lose, the Raiders will progress direct to the grand final qualifier. There is also a chance if the Raiders lose they could be eliminated from the playoff's in the first week if results were to go against them.
