Morley concedes he faces a battle
to escape suspension

Sydney Roosters hardman Adrian Morley concedes he has a battle on his hands escaping suspension at the National Rugby League judiciary tonight.

Morley has been charged with a grade two careless high tackle on Wests Tigers prop Corey Pearson. The Great Britain Test forward can accept a one-match suspension with an early guilty plea, but his blemished record means he'll miss two games if he unsuccessfully contests the charge.

Canberra forward Tyran Smith is in a similar predicament after being charged with a grade two careless high tackle on Warriors hooker Tavita Latu.

Warriors forward Sione Faumuina was charged with a grade two careless high tackle on Canberra's Alan Tongue, but will escape suspension if he submits an early guilty plea.
