Muckert to face judiciary

North Queensland forward Chris Muckert will be the only player to front the National Rugby League judiciary tomorrow night after pleading not guilty to a dangerous throw.

Muckert, who'll appear by video link from Townsville, could be suspended for one week if he is found guilty of the grade one charge. The 22-year-old was placed on report following a tackle on Sydney Roosters prop Jason Cayless in the 78th minute of Sunday's game at Aussie Stadium.

Melbourne forward Danny Williams has been suspended for one week on a grade one striking charge while Roosters utility Stuart Webb pleaded guilty to a grade one careless high tackle, but will not miss a match.

Last night, NSW and Newcastle prop Josh Perry pleaded guilty to grade one striking and a grade one careless high tackle and was suspended for one match, ruling him out of the second State of Origin game.
