Penrith punish rusty Roosters
8 hours ago | Aidan Edgecomb
The Newcastle Knights will be bolstered by the return of Jarrod Mullen when the team takes on the Brisbane Broncos in an explosive game of Friday Night Footy.
The speedy comeback from broken ribs a little over a week ago are a testament to the fighting character of one of Newcastle's favourites.
Mullen succumbed to injury late last week, to be replaced in the halves by Scott Dureau for the journey to New Zealand.
The inclusion of Mullen to the NRL team, and Dureau's return to the Central Coast Centurions are the only changes for this determined Knights side.
After an eight point win over Brisbane back in round 8, the Knights are looking forward to taking on the Broncos on their own turf.
