Myles & Moodie

Queensland forward Nate Myles is disappointed with the dumping of Sydney Roosters coach Ricky Stuart but has pledged his allegiance to the club for next year.

Bulldogs prop Myles signed with the Roosters for next season despite interest from seven other clubs, citing the opportunity to develop his game under Stuart as the deciding factor. Myles says he was disappointed the Kangaroos mentor wouldn't be at the club next season, but will fulfil his contract with the tri-colours.

Meanwhile, former NSW winger Jason Moodie will come out of retirement to make a shock return for Wests Tigers next season.

Moodie, a veteran of 164 NRL games for Newcastle, Parramatta and Wests Tigers, will make a surprise comeback two seasons after announcing his retirement. The 32-year-old will resume his career with the Tigers if he gets through pre-season training and shows no ill effects after undergoing knee surgery.
