New Zealand A
v Warrington

Australian Darren Burns will lead Warrington against New Zealand A in a match that will mark the Wolves' final appearance at Wilderspool.

The former Brisbane Broncos forward, who recently signed a new 12-month contract, will lead a young side after injuries and representative calls culled members of the club's Super League squad.

Coach Paul Cullen can also call on second rower Paul Noone and centre Ben Westwood.

New Zealand A are expected to give a run-out to second rower or prop Hame Lauaki, who is the only player in their 21-strong squad yet to appear on tour, in their last game before they take on Great Britain at Headingley on Wednesday.

The Kiwis staged a brilliant recovery to draw 24-24 with Cumbria in their opening match last Sunday but suffered a surprise 27-8 defeat by the National League Two side on Wednesday.
