Newcastle Knights 2010 Season Preview

2009 was a year of successes for the Newcastle Knights. For the first time since 2006 they progressed to the post-season, only to lose hooker Isaac De Gois after the first tackle. The tough number 9 attempted to continue, but finally succumbed to his knee injury several minutes later. It was a hard lesson for coach Rick Stone that there is nowhere to hide in semi final football for a player who goes in less than 100%. A courageous Knights outfit would eventually go down 26-12 to the born-again Bulldogs.

Stone will again head the charge of the Knights Brigade in 2010. He will be better for the five-game stint he had at the back end of the
