No action against Taylor & Hagan

The NRL will not take any action against feuding coaches Jason Taylor and Michael Hagan over yesterday's verbal stoush following Parramatta's win over South Sydney.

Rabbitohs coach Taylor and Eels mentor Hagan exchanged expletive-laden words when they crossed paths during the post-match press conferences. The argument was sparked by Taylor's anger over the warm-up facilities provided by the Eels.

NRL officials discussed possible sanctions against the coaches for bringing the game into disrepute at a management meeting this morning. But chief operating officer Graham Annesley says the incident took place out of public view and both clubs have acknowledged their coaches should have handled the situation differently.
