NRL debut ahead for Chalk

Fone Zone Canberra Raiders star Premier League fullback Marshall Chalk has received a call to arms from head coach Matt Elliott for this Sunday's do-or-die clash with the Roosters.

Chalk has been named on the wing, with Matt Gafa moving into the centres to partner Joel Monaghan, who will face off against the club he is set to join in 2005.

Terry Martin is set to make his return from injury and has been named in the second row in place of Ruben Wiki, who will miss one week after entering an early guilty plea to a grade 1 careless high tackle charge yesterday.

Tyran Smith is also sidelined for a week after taking an early plea to a grade 1 striking charge arising out of last Sunday's loss to Melbourne.

A halves pairing of Drew and McLinden will be put to the test this weekend, while Todd Carney has been named on a 6-man bench.

Mark Bryant is also set for his return to first grade and has been named on the interchange bench.

It's the last throw of the dice for the out-of-sorts Raiders, who will bow out of the finals race if they are defeated this Sunday.
