Always difficult at this time of year to separate the best teams but the punters are looking at the Titans as early favourites and rightly so, they are a quality football team. Being one win away from the Grand Final is a miracle considering this franchise has only been in existence for a short time. Speaking of miracles, the Roosters are also 80 minutes away from the big one after winning the spoon only one year ago. Credit to both teams and this ensures a beauty at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night.
The Titans play with a truckload of desire and discipline and under normal circumstances this gets you home in big matches - unfortunately for the boys from Robina, these are not normal circumstances. Todd Carney is not normal. He holds the key again this week and will guide the Roosters to another big win in another big game. Carney is the difference in this one but the battle of the back rowers will be just as entertaining. Former five/eighths Greg Bird and Braith Anasta will ply their trades in the second row and this matchup will be a highlight amongst a bunch of them.
My Tip: Sydney Roosters 24-20
