NZRL Line up Thurston for Tri
Series

The Kiwi selectors are waiting on a decision from Australian born five-eighth, Jonathan Thurston, over his representative league future.

Thurston, whose father is a New Zealander, has been approached by the selectors to make himself available to play for the Kiwis.

Kiwi selector Daryl Halligan says Thurston would be a definite prospect if he made himself available.

Halligan says the selectors are taking it one step at a time. Now they are waiting for a decision from Thurston.

He says Jonathan Thurston wants to play State of Origin, something he could not do if he were to represent New Zealand.
