Panthers ruffle Roosters feathers in Penrith

The Penrith Panthers were just too strong this afternoon at CUA Stadium in front of a crowd of 14,023, as they soundly defeated the Sydney Roosters by 28-6.

It did not take long in the match for the home side to show their dominance as the Roosters defence had no answer to an error free start by the Panthers.
The halftime score of 16-0 a good indication. Panthers fullback Coote in fine form causing havoc on attack.

The second half an continuation of the first half as the Panthers looked impressive both on attack and defence.
Penrith halfback Walsh creating all sorts of strife for the defence with his high kicks throughout the whole match.

The Roosters solitary try of the match a credit to the visitors not giving in. But a tough ask to compete against a Panthers side hell-bent on winning this afternoon.
