Part 2 of NZ Bartercard Cup split round

Two games in Round 8 of New Zealand's Bartercard Cup were played last weekend with the Titans just scraping through over the Jets by 22-18, and Harbour League performing badly against the Storm, winning by the same score, 22-18.

First up game in the second half of the Round 8 split round has two out of town teams travel to Auckland to face each other at Mt Smart. The Stallions come off a very heavy loss to the Rangers in Round 7, while The Falcons showed a bit of spark up against Counties Manakau Jets, only losing narrowly in the end. Away from home for both these sides, it'll be tough for both of them.

The second game of the double header at Mt Smart on Saturday sees both the Waitakere Rangers and Auckland Lions head to Mt Smart on Saturday afternoon.

After a week's rest for the two sides following their decisive victories in Round 7, they'll be champing at the bit to get out on the field once more.

The Rangers are sitting fourth on the table at present with 3 losses while the Lions still remain undefeated at this stage in te competition.

This game will be live on the Maori TV channel at 2.10 on Saturday.
