Robbie Farah will take up the captaincy of the NSW Blues after his vice-captains role in Game 1 and 2.
Aaron Woods has been called up into the NSW Blues side to replace Gallen in the line-up. Gallen failed to train with the squad during the week after having his foot in a moon boot due to injury.
In other injury news, second rower Greg Bird has joined in full training on Friday morning and there is no concern for Wednesday's game.
