Panthers v Broncos preview

Queensland Test prop Shane Webcke has questioned whether State of Origin rugby league players are being short changed at $5,000 a game.
The Brisbane Broncos frontrower says he started considering the Origin players match fees after reading about the pay row between the Australian Rugby Union and the Wallabies.
The Wallabies get $10,000 a Test and want $300,000 for this year's Tri-Nations series and World Cup. Webcke used his Brisbane newspaper column to ask whether $15,000 a man for all three games in the Origin series is fair given the record crowds and TV interest.
Australian Rugby League CEO Geoff Carr said the Origin payments will be discussed at next month's meeting of the National Rugby League Partnership Executive.
