Peek returns as Thomas retains place in Crusaders squad

Gareth Thomas retains his place in Brian Noble's 19-man Crusaders squad for Friday's clash against Castleford Tigers at the Jungle (kick-off 8pm).

Thomas, who made a sensational switch from rugby union side Cardiff Blues last month, was forced off with a head injury last week just half-an hour into his rugby league debut against Catalans Dragons.

But he has been training well this week and has been passed fit for the trip to Yorkshire.

Australian forward Adam Peek also returns to the Crusaders squad, having missed last week's 14-6 victory over the French outfit with a leg injury. He replaces Ben Flower who drops out of the squad.

Tommy Lee is still ruled out while Gareth Raynor is still a doubt after missing the Catalans game with a whiplash injury.

Peter Lupton returns to face his former club this week and is relishing playing at the Jungle.
