Player movements ? Broncos, Eels

Former Queensland State of Origin utility Casey McGuire looks set to join English Super League club Catalans Dragons with the French-based team announcing it has sealed a three-year deal.

But the revelation is news to Brisbane chief executive Bruno Cullen, who is yet to receive anything official from the player or the club.

Parramatta super-sub Dean Widders has revealed he is being squeezed out of the NRL club, with South Sydney forming as his most likely destination for next season.

Widders, off contract at the end of this year, had wanted to extend his five-year stay with the Eels but the parties couldn't agree to financial terms. Meanwhile, five-eighth John Morris says he is keen to stay with the Eels but fears he is unwanted for next season.
