Player movements ? Kearns, Ross,
Walker & Orford

Melbourne captain Robbie Kearns says he will consider joining Cronulla or the Wests Tigers if he can't seal a one-year NRL deal with the Storm.

The veteran forward intends to play for another season, but the Storm is only likely to table an offer if it misses out on signing Penrith forward Ben Ross.

Meanwhile, Sydney Roosters flyer Chris Walker's talks with the Tigers have been postponed till later in the week.

In-demand Melbourne halfback Matt Orford says he will join South Sydney if the club takes up an $8 million NRL offer to relocate to the Central Coast. However, Orford's dream of linking with a Central Coast-based Souths appears doomed after Rabbitohs chief executive Shane Richardson ruled out the move.

The Rabbitohs are locked in a three-way tussle for the signature of Ben Ross along with Melbourne and Cronulla.
