A Queensland rugby league player has been suspended for 12 matches for testing positive to cannabis.
Rockhampton-based social footballer Anthony Munns copped the ban for taking the non performance-enhancing substance before a Queensland Rugby League regional carnival on the Sunshine Coast in May.
Munns was playing for the Central Capras, in the divisional competition which is a tier below the Queensland Cup. He is the second Queensland league player this year to be suspended for taking cannabis.
