The Mitsubishi Electric Bulldogs flew back into Sydney yesterday after their World Club Challenge match in the UK.
Although a little tired from the 30 hour trip the team was in good spirits.
Steve Folkes said that alot of good came out of the trip including the performances from the younger players.
World Club Challenge captain Tony Grimaldi commented that it was encouraging to see how the young guys handled the pressure of the match, in front of a full house at Elland Rd Stadium.
The only concern from the trip is a sternum injury to Bulldogs five eighth Braith Anasta. The Bulldogs medical staff believe that Anasta should be ready for the NRL season opener against the Dragons on March 11.
The team will have a couple of days off before resuming training this Saturday. They have their first hit out on Australian soil on Saturday, February 19 at 7.30pm against the Raiders at Express Advocate Stadium, Gosford.
There are still plenty of good seats available for that match. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketek.
