Preview: Bradford v Les Catalans (Round 12)

Bradford will aim to give Steve McNamara a winning home debut as head coach and ruin former assistant Mick Potter?s return to Odsal when the Bulls take on Catalans Dragons on Friday.

Potter, who cut his coaching teeth at Odsal in the early years of Super League, is engineering a revival in the fortunes of the Catalans which threatens to ruin McNamara?s big day.

Bottom of the table when Potter arrived in Perpignan in mid-March, the Dragons have won two of their six League matches under his guidance and they have been competitive in each defeat.

?They have been improving since their coach came on board,? admitted Bradford captain Iestyn Harris. ?We have watched their last couple of games and they are a very physical side.

?We are going to have to bring our crash helmets with us, metaphorically speaking, because they are really going to fire into us for the first 20 minutes or so in each half.?
