Preview: Huddersfield v
Leeds (C. Cup)

Danny McGuire will be given until an hour before kick-off to prove his fitness for Sunday's Challenge Cup semi-final at Odsal.

The prolific Leeds and Great Britain stand-off suffered a shin injury in the defeat to St Helens last weekend but has been included in Tony Smith's initial squad.

He will undergo a fitness test on Sunday and Smith said: "We will give him right up until the game."

Lee Smith and Ian Kirke have been added to the group on duty against Saints while new signing Clinton Toopi will not arrive until after the game.

Jamie Thackray is ineligible having played for Hull against Bradford in the fourth round.

Huddersfield coach Jon Sharp has reported no fresh injury problems after the Giants Super League victory over Castleford.

Paul Reilly needed eight stitches in a head wound after that tough encounter but he will be fit to play on Sunday.

Loan signing Kevin Brown is ineligible so Sharp will have to make at least one change to his starting line-up.
