Preview: South Wales Scorpions v London Skolars

Co-operative Championship 1 - Sunday 28th March SOUTH WALES SCORPIONS v LONDON SKOLARS The Gnoll, Neath - Kick-off 2pm

South Wales Scorpions will attempt to continue their fine start to the season this Sunday when they take on London Skolars at The Gnoll (kick-off 2pm).

Max Boyce will be in attendance on Sunday and he will hope to see Wales' newest professional side achieve their third win in four games. Just a narrow 25-24 defeat at York last week has blotted their copy book so far and the Scorpions are sitting high at second in the table right now, just two points behind York.

South Wales coach Anthony Seibold is set to give Matt Hutchings his debut off the bench while Jamie Murphy likely to earn his first start.

Christiaan Roets was impressive last week winning the Players Player award and Gil Dudson showed he is starting to hit some form up front. Seibold said: "This week is going to be another test and experience in playing at this level for our young team. After a strong effort away against York last weekend we were very disappointed to lose in the last minute, but it showed we still have a long way to go with regards to being smart enough to clinically close out a game against good opposition.
