Penrith punish rusty Roosters

In an extraordinary night at the judiciary, Bulldogs skipper Steve Price was cleared of a striking charge on Glenn Morrison and will be available to play on Sunday as the Bulldogs take on the Melbourne Storm in an elimination semi final. Had Price been suspended, it may have been his final game in Bulldogs colours as he has joined the New Zealand Warriors for the next three seasons.
Roosters halfback Brett Finch was also given the green light to play after having his dangerous throw charge successfully downgraded. Finch? was placed on report for a dangerous tackle on Raiders fullback Clinton Schifcofske. Finch pleaded guilty to the charge in the hope of having it downgraded as it was his first offence and was successful in doing so and is now free to take his place in the Roosters side for the grand final qualifier next weekend.
