Prince signs three-year deal

Brisbane halfback Scott Prince will reunite with old coach Tim Sheens for the next three years after signing with the Wests Tigers.

The National Rugby League club today announced the signing of Prince until the end of the 2006 season. Sheens coached the 23-year-old halfback at North Queensland from 1998 to 2000 before Prince joined the Broncos, where two broken legs restricted him to just five first-grade games over the past two seaons.

Prince joins Parramatta backs Pat Richards and Brett Hodgson as high-profile signings for the Tigers, currently languishing in 13th spot on the NRL ladder. The joint venture club has also announced the signing of Penrith half Ben Reynolds on a two-year deal.
