Queensland Cup newcomers, the Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles, make their debut in front of the ABC television cameras in this Bishop Park blockbuster. The Sea Eagles are coming off an historic opening round victory over Redcliffe, while the Devils are also in great touch after a 40-14 thumping of Easts. The battle between the opposite halfbacks should be a beauty. Both Ben Hunt (Norths) and Trent Hodkinson (Sunshine Coast) are understudies at their respective NRL clubs. Along with directing the on-field play, Hunt and Hodkinson will assume the goal-kicking duties for their teams.
