Queensland team named - Prince overlooked again

Gold Coast Titans half Scott Prince has again been overlooked, Queensland selectors today naming the Maroons team side to take on NSW in the second State of Origin clash to be staged at Suncorp Stadium on June 11.

As expected, Darren Lockyer has been named at five-eighth with Johnathan Thurston perhaps fortunate to hold onto his half back spot.

Karmichael Hunt, five eighth in Origin I, has also been retained on the bench with Billy Slater starting at fullback.

Winger Darius Boyd will make his debut for Queensland, replacing centre Justin Hodges who has been suspended for six weeks for a dangerous tackle in Friday night's match against the Eels. Israel Folau moves into the centres from the wing.

In the forwards, veteran prop Steve Price has been named in the run-on side with utility Ashley Harrison being named on the bench.

In all, Maroons selectors have made four changes with Hodges being ruled out by suspension in addition to Carl Webb, PJ Marsh and Jacob Lillyman being dropped following Queensland's 18-10 loss in Origin I.
