Wigan Warriors owner Dave Whelan said the Super League side have received offers for full-back Kris Radlinski from rugby union. Whelan said that Wigan, who let Andy Farrell change codes earlier this year, would support Radlinski over whatever decision he chose to make.
London Irish, Leicester and Sale have been mentioned as possible destinations should the 29-year-old decide to move.
The Wigan superstar is currently out of action because of a hamstring injury.
Earlier in the week, recently appointed Wigan coach Ian Millward also gave his backing to Radlinski.
"Kris is probably in the Farrell category - he's been fantastic for the game and Wigan," said Millward.
"He's won all there is to win and maybe he needs another challenge. If that's what he wants to do, I'll support him." The Great Britain international has spent his entire career at Wigan since making his debut back in 1993 and has won Super League and the Challenge Cup with the Warriors.
Radlinski, whose contract expires at the end of next season, is enjoying his testimonial season at the JJB Stadium this year.
"I think the public and the people here would support him in whatever decision he makes," added Millward.
Wigan have previously lost stalwart players like Farrell and winger Jason Robinson to union.
