Raiders name team to play Panthers

The Canberra Raiders will head into Saturday nights crucial match against the Panthers at near full strength, with several key players returning to the Raiders line-up.

Raiders Captain Clinton Schifcofske and Queensland team mate Adam Mogg have been named in the Raiders starting line-up for the green machine, and both Troy Thompson and Simon Woolford are expected to make their returns from injury.

Raiders Coach Matt Elliott has named an extended bench for Saturday night, with Kris Kahler named in first grade for the first time in 2006.

With Schifcofske and Mogg?s returning to the side Marshall Chalk and David Howell have been shifted to the Raiders bench, while Lincoln Withers has retained his starting position at hooker with Simon Woolford set to start from the sideline.

Raiders prop Troy Thompson said he is ready for a big return to the Raiders pack, and has recovered fully from his hamstring injury.

?I can?t wait to get back out there and help the team,? Thompson said. ?My hamstring is right to go and I am looking forward to what should be a close match.?
