Raiders name team to take on Sea Eagles
Brett White will get his first chance to start for the Raiders this week, when the Green Machine takes on the Manly Sea Eagles on Monday night at Brookvale Oval.
White has started from the bench this season so far for the Raiders, however a pectoral injury to prop David Shillington gives White the chance to start his first game at his new club.
Shillington will arrive back in Canberra this afternoon and will have scans on his pectoral muscle to determine the extent of the damage.
Other changes for the Raiders this week sees Alan Tongue return to the starting side at hooker with Glen Buttriss moving back to the bench, with Reece Robinson coming onto the wing to replace Daniel Vidot, who has been omitted from the side.
Danny Galea also gets an opportunity this week to start in the back row for Canberra, with Trevor Thurling moving to the bench. Sam Mataora has also been named on an extended bench.
Country representatives Josh Dugan, Joel Thompson and Tom Learoyd-Lahrs have been named for the Raiders and will back up providing the get through Friday night's match in Albury unscathed.
