Raiders Pink Jerseys Raise Over $18,000 For National Breast Cancer Foundation

The Canberra Raiders and long time supporter www.allbids.com.au are proud to announce today that last week's auction of the Raiders Pink jerseys has raised over $18,000 for the National Breast Cancer foundation.

Each jersey which was worn in last weekend's Women in League Round match at Canberra Stadium was up for auction via www.allbids.com.au, including those jerseys which were worn by players who didn't end up playing in the match.

Man of the Match on the night Josh McCrone was the player most sought after attracting an impressive $1600 for his jersey, while crowd favourite Alan Tongue's jersey came in second at $1210.

Rookies Josh Papalii ($1111) and Sam Williams ($998) also attracted healthy bids, as did recognised stars Blake Ferguson ($1190) and Tom Learoyd-Lahrs ($1001).

In the end it was about raising money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and Raiders skipper Alan Tongue thanked all of the people who donated money for getting behind the cause.
