Rea drops three with sweeping
changes for Sunday

Three players have been dropped and another seven positional changes have been made to London Broncos team ahead of Sunday's game with Wakefield.

Coach Tony Rea has made sweeping changes after last Friday's 62-16 loss to St Helens.

Rea has not included centre Rob Jackson or forwards Damian Kennedy and Richard Marshall for Sunday's game. Coming back into the team from injury will be three-quarters Andrew King and Nigel Roy, as well as back-rower, Andrew Hamilton, who has not played since breaking his arm seven weeks ago in the win against Wigan.

Rea has made a number of positional changes as well, the most surprising of which sees last year's leading try scorer, Dennis Moran, relegated to the substitutes bench. Of this move, Rea said: "It's just part of a role change for Dennis, that's all."

Chris Thorman will take over at scrum half with Rob Purdham moving to six. In other positional changes, Neil Budworth will start at hooker with Bill Peden moving back to second row, young Leeds Academy front rower Tommy Gallagher will start in the front row alongside Francis Stephenson, King will start at full back, and Mat Toshack will move back into the pack with Nigel Roy named in the centres.

London won this corresponding fixture at Belle Vue last season 26-25. Fans can listen to live match commentary through the Broncos website www.londonbroncos.co.uk courtesy of BBC London 94.9fm from 3.30pm.
