Rea names team to face Super League
Champions

Tony Rea has named an eighteen man squad to take on the Super League Champions at Headingley tonight in what will be the Broncos second pre-season friendly.

Rea has a number of players carrying some niggling injuries and at this stage in the season will not risk further damage. Missing with minor shoulder injuries are Thomas Leuluai and Mark O'Halloran, Joe Mbu and Dave Highton are both out with lower leg injuries, Lee Sanderson is recovering from major knee surgery, and Danny Williams will miss this game through suspension.

John Kirkpatrick, who landed two tries in France last week, has pulled up a little sore and will also sit this one out.

Rea will trial Jon Wells out of position at loose forward with Rob Purdham set to start from the bench in what will be his first game since post season knee surgery.

With Leuluai out, Mark Mc Linden will wear the seven with Luke Dorn at six.

Exciting youngster Zebastian Luisi will start at full back and Paul Sykes shifts into the centres alongside Tyrone Smith.

Team as follows:

Luisi, Greenwood, Smith, Sykes, Bradley Qalilawa, Dorn, Mc Linden, Trindall, Budworth, Tookey, Hopkins, Haumono, Wells Subs: Purdham, Stephenson, Stringer, Lolohea, Armour
